Charlie, a student from England, stayed for 2 weeks. Charlie taught us new skills on the computer, and added to the web-site. He helped a neighbour in his vineyard, did some fencing, broke up concrete, helped lay a new path, and cooked some vegetarian dishes with our home-grown veggies. Charlie returned for a second visit, in June 2000, to help us build our pond, and its web-page. |

The children (James and Claire), with Naoko and Ayumi from Japan, Doron from Israel, and Cookie the budgie. Doron built the farm web-page for us, cleared a paddock of stones, worked on the pond water-supply and learnt how to drive the tractor. He also mowed the lawns. Naoko cooked meals, picked grapefruit and had a lot of fun spending time with Claire. Ayumi stayed for over a month; she cooked beautiful meals, did a lot of gardening and housework. |

Akiyo, a teacher from Japan, stayed for 10 days. Akiyo fed the chickens, collected eggs, helped us pulling up concrete for a new path, and prepared some wonderful Japanese meals and yummy desserts. |

Rebecca, from England, created a sculpture of an Oryx for our garden on her last visit, and we are hoping she returns one day to create more African animals for our garden. |
